This horn does not look like it had been played very much or it had been restored at some point.SOME INFORMATION FROM THE NET. All parts seem to disassemble and assemble easily. The finish is probably 85++++ percent very clean and shinning brightly. I see a few red dots inside of the bell area. There is however some wear and thinning to the finish in a couple of areas.There are some minor scratches here and there. All of the slides work smoothly, and the valves are tight ,pads are fine. 1947 FRANK HOLTON STRATODYNE TRUMPET model 49 with 7C mouthpiece and a new case.Serial number 175XXX on center valveEngraved on the bell is:HOLTON STRATODYNEElkhorn WIS U.S.AAlong with the engraved company name the bell is embellished with an art deco pattern of sorts.This horn does not have any dings or dents on the exterior.
